Hi everyone,

I have a 2023 Mach-E GT, which I believe is a 2023.5 model as it doesn't come with the three years of BlueVruise. I also own an iPhone 15 Pro.

I've been experiencing almost daily issues with wireless CarPlay. Initially, it was a minor inconvenience where the sound wouldn't work despite being connected. I would simply disconnect from the phone list CarPlay and reconnect, and it would be fine.

However, the problems have escalated. Now, there are times when it doesn't connect at all, displaying a "no response from xxx" message. The only solution seems to be resetting my phone while I'm in the car, which is quite frustrating and annoying.

I've tried forgetting my phone and re-adding it, but the problem persists. For what it's worth, I haven't received an update since the Tesla Charger Network update back in March.

Any ideas on how to fix this? What steps should I take next?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

If you haven’t rebooted Sync yet, you should. I generally reboot my phone first, then Sync. It is most often the phone, in my experience so far. There was an audio update and more than one update that fixed PaaK issues. You might consider posting your VIN in the FDRS thread to see how behind you might be.

Rebooting sync by pressing the volume and skip track button on the steering wheel?

It was doing that to me once after an iphone update. I had to reset my iphone network settings, which helped. And by help I mean I’m back to it simply randomly having no audio but can connect just fine. Annoying bug…

Make sure to only reset network settings and not the entire phone ?

I have routine trouble with car play. No sound on random trips. I haven't found any consistent fix unfortunately. I did a voice feedback to Ford.

This isn't a problem exclusive to the Mach-E. I had similar problems with wireless carplay to a Chevy Bolt. I would usually solve the problem by just plugging the phone into a car's USB port.

I have this too on my premium 22, sometimes i wasnt able to connect at all even using cable (usb-c) even after rebooting phone. A couple of weeks ago I saw an advice to buy conmdex cable and reboot sync.

I have no idea why this cable, first time I heard about this brand, but out of curiosity I bought it, and so far I’m being able to connect using the cable if wireless is not working without any issues.
