Just announced this morning for ONRoute chargers. I'm headed to Montreal for the week-end so I'll have a good idea whether or not this is cheaper than the old per hour pricing as I did the same trip two weeks ago.

Price is $0.62 per kWh which is way more expensive than the old pricing.

Here's an example from two weeks ago: 36.66 kWh / $14.38 = $0.39 per kWh. At least we won't get dinged when the chargers get derated, but this is way more expensive.

Under the new tariff this charge would have cost me $22.72!

Looking forward to your update. While most could agree that per kWh billing is theoretically most fair since it doesn't penalize for different or variable charging speeds, if the supplier charges a 3X markup, that won't be viewed favourably. Seems like Ivy is abusing their access to the prime On Route locations. Gas prices are premium there too, but only by a little and must be in line with other local prices.

One might put up with it if the experience and reliability were top notch but Ivy hasn't been getting the best reviews on this forum.

Hope your weekend in Montréal was excellent.

It didn't very go well... :)

And I agree - if the increase was coupled with a 99.99% uptime, dispensers covered from the elements, amenities like squeegees and garbage bins, and solid charging speeds, you could say we are paying for a premium product. But it's in fact the exact opposite.

And let's not forgot this network is partially run with OUR tax dollars!

Arrgh! Why can't they put the resources needed in place to properly operate this infrastructure??? Thanks for pointing to the other thread and providing all that information.
