Lane-Keeping system stopped working / does not engage

Last week while returning from my Yellowstone trip on my way to Seattle, lane-keep system stopped working. Don’t remember seeing any alerts or notifications. The car in the digital cluster center screen stopped showing the circular shape border around which indicates that the lane-keep assist has triggered and changed to a half circle in the front of the car icon.

i tried multiple things including disabling all related features and re-enabling them with no resolution.

And stupidly enough I must have pressed the physical lane-keep button on the wheel. Ignore my false alarm.
