I put the Ford pony badge in the frunk instead of the interior of the lift gate (the trunk cover was going to cover up the area where Ford said to place the badge). I kind of like it.

Interesting! I didn't know something like this existed. How bright does it get and is it just for decorative purposes or is there some utility to this thing?

I had some Ford points to use, so this was what I got plus the mud flaps were virtually free. You can find all the MME Ford accessories on the Ford site.

The badge is gravity activated so it lights up when you open the trunk or frunk in this case. It's only for decoration, doesn't provide enough light to see by.

That’s pretty cool! Do you have a link where you got it from?

If you don't mind, can you post a picture of the instructions where Ford recommended the badge to be placed? Trying to get an idea in my head how it would look. Thanks!

Apologies. I tossed the instructions. Basically, Ford said to place it on the inside, below the lift gate window when open, centered, so that it is right side up when the lift gate is open. It would be upside down and above the lift gate window when closed, and it lights up for 30 seconds, and is gravity activated so it'd be off until you opened the lift gate. It comes with a cutout to center it and is held on with adhesive tape.

I have the trunk cover on, and because it's attached to the lift gate, it covers that area so you wouldn't see the badge. So I put it in the frunk. ?‍♂ Could probably move it back if you wanted to with new tape.

Here's a pic of where they designed it for.

Add these too. They give actual light to see by. ??
