That's why I asked about asking for the weather through the "voice" button......this same thing happened to me when I picked up my new '23 Premium in June......I could not get a response when I asked for the weather but did get the message that there was a problem with connected services......at that time there was a problem with big Ford......a call to connected services solved the problem......part of the problem was also not getting traffic updates.....
Yup, and had I not already been on the video chat with them, your message likely would have gotten me there - so thanks!

Searching for chargers would have brought up a message to turn on connected services, not sure why you had to go through the whole hassle. I’m just glad the menu showed up for you when you needed it lol, cause there’s a bug with that right now.

That's exactly what happened - the video chat agent had me click on chargers (even though it was greyed out - who would have thought clicking on a greyed out option was a thing..) and that brought up the settings section.

All - thanks for all the suggestions - I missed them because I was on a video call with Ford. I must say, that was a great experience! So much better than just calling - the ability to just show her what I'm seeing on the car was awesome.

Better yet, she figured it out! It turns out that in Connectivity/Connected Services, under Connected Vehicle Features, The Connected Navigation toggle was disabled. (2nd to last option). Not sure if 1) it was always disabled or 2) I disabled it at some point myself (extremely unlikely) , or an 3) an OTA update disabled it, but either way, after I toggled it on, I got both traffic and weather.

I'm super happy now and hope that others in the future find this and 1) use the video chat and 2) check to see if the toggle is enabled. :)

I had the same no traffic problem and I gave up on it long ago (by using Android Auto).
Tonight, I clicked on the "Connected Vehicle" and it cannot be opened.
I then followed what you mentioned and click on "weather" inside Navigation. It brought me to the Connectivity page but it closed itself quickly.
I then turned off the vehicle and check the Fordpass setting on my PC. Everything looks all right.
I came back to my vehicle and press the navigation -> Tools-> weather again, this time it brought me to Connectivtiy and the screen like yours expanded ok this time.
Thanks for tips and hope the traffic will show up in my next drive.

Curious, how you were able to get a Video Call set up? Normally the Call Center just directs you to the Dealer to resolve issues. This is a wonderful revelation to hear. In the past (2021), I'd had so little help from the call center that I'd just check with the Forum or go to the Dealer. Glad your issue was resolved

So it's a bit convoluted - but at some point in getting the car I learned about a service where you can text ford and they try to help you. I think I clicked something on ford's website (I don't remember where, I'll look), which set up the texting. The phone number in my case (perhaps there are many - is 734-892-0892. They only respond Tuesday through Saturday.) Attaching screen shot of initial conversation and then later when they offered the 'Guided Virtual Tour'. (after much back and forth over the weeks).

Fingers crossed! I think she had me click on 'Chargers' in navigation. Keep us posted! Though you don't have to wait for your next drive, just hit navigation and put in a destination to check. No need to drive there ;)

There was a point in time where my “connected services” was completely disabled for some odd reason but then came back to life like 1.5 weeks later. Ford support was of little help. Seems like the modem wasn’t connecting to ford’s servers for unknown reasons.

Glad they took care of you. How did you get in touch with them to get a video chat? Thanks
