Here's one of the worst trip report experiences you can ever have.

I dropped my car off April 13 to the body shop at 38%. Today is May 25 (42 days) and the car has gone from 38 % charge to 34 % charge. This is an average of roughly 1% per 10 days.

Another thing I've learned is that body shops who have never worked on a Mach E can't be trusted. I brought the car to a very reputable collision shop and after 20 days I got a call that their contractor did not have the proper equipment to work on the Mach E (remove and replace battery pack.)

My advice: bring to a ford collision DEALER (not a shop affiliated with Ford) for the repairs and make sure they have the equipment to REMOVE AND REINSTALL the battery pack. Note, this was for rear end damage.

It took roughly 3 months to get the parts in, and then 42 days at 2 different places with a flat bed in-between and I still am without the car!

I hope this helps someone at some point. I'll further update whenever I get the car back!

That's pretty good battery decline, I think.

I would have to say that you'll probably run into the same situation at a Ford body shop, owned by a dealer. So few have actually dealt with the battery pack, even those getting their HVBJB replaced are having to wait forever so Ford Engineering can walk dealers through the process. I think you should still do either a Ford dealer owned body shop, which is rare nowadays, or one that does all the work for a Ford dealer, which is what I did.

Pick the most reputable of the 2 and ask questions on how they handle unknowns. My job wasn't as big as yours, just a front end replacement, but they still had never worked on an MME and had to use their Ford dealer they do the work for to get them a lot of info, but they got it done and did a great job.
