I've owned a MME RWD X since August. Its very first full charge gave me 312 miles, which was disappointing but I assumed it would improve. Now, after only 1600 miles my last charge gave me 213 miles for a 92% charge - which I calculate is about 230 full range. (or about 60% of the claimed 379). We all know we will never get to, or near, 379 - but only 60%???
I emailed Ford here in UK (who have been very helpful during the ordering process and since I've had the car). The key things they said to improve range were things I've been consistently doing since new:
1) use use-pedal driving option (have used all the time)
2) keep battery mostly between 10-80% (yes)
3) use AC charging whenever possible. (I have only ever charged the car at home on the AC trickle charger).
Nor is it cold here in UK yet - so my driving has so far been in warm weather. (I understand the range is worse in very/cold weather.)
So, you would think I'm an ideal candidate for getting a high range figure.
Anyone else had such poor range figures?

Our weather has moved from Hot to cool (80's-90's to 50's-60's) and my GOS has dropped about 50 miles on a 90% charge (290 - 240). Premium 4 wheel drive and big battery.

Your real complaint is not with Ford, but with the UN bureaucrats that came up with WLTP. WLTP is garbage system that greatly overstates car's efficiency. If it makes you feel any better, 230 mile range is dead on what US EPA estimate is for MME RWD X.

230 is the US EPA range for a standard range, not an extended range.

My estimated range also went very conservative a few weeks ago, as morning temps dropped to freezing. Watch your actual efficiency for each trip, that will give you a better feel of your real range. In the morning with frost on the ground, I saw a 25-30% increase in my consumption, but the afternoon drives were almost normal. Still, the estimated range fell by 1/3.

I drove home from work one day last week, covering 10 miles, and only used 1 mile of estimated range! I assume it will learn as it gets more data on my driving.

Don't forget that the heater in this car uses quite a bit of electricity that doesn't go to range. This range hit is much higher than cooling the car, except maybe on the very hottest days. I lowered the temp setting quite a bit and rely mostly on the heated steering wheel.

We haven’t needed heat yet down here but I was expecting to see at least a slight increase in range without the AC on. I haven’t noticed any difference in range with the AC turned off!

You're right. I misread what the OP wrote.
Continuing the discussion on range .... this seems too good to be true: Just had Power-Up 2.6.0 installed by dealer. They asked me to bring the car in just for this, as the upgrade had failed a few months OK on roof/windscreen recall. My 'estimated' total range has historically varied from 320 (highest recorded, when car was new, a year ago), but since then it's varied from c200-240 in (mild) winter time here in UK, to about 275 recently (summer time). Ford's claimed range for ER RWD is 379.
Now, straight after the upgrade, my first charge registered an estimated 100% range of 377! Also, the free Ford trickle charger which I always use was now inputting 9.5 miles range for every hour charged, compared to 5.0 - 6.0 in winter, 6.0 - 6.7 in summer. These, if real, are significant changes.
BUT are they 'real' changes, or is it just the software making things look better? Haven't had time to put this to the test yet.
Any one else experienced such changes in range and charging speed with a software upgrade? Seems too good to be true.
(NB By 'estimated' total range, I tend to charge to around 80-90% then within Charging Logs on FordPass I note down what the total 100% charge would be.)
