mach-e automatically connecting to wrong iPhone

Couldn't find this addressed anywhere but if you're aware of a thread, would appreciate being pointed there. Husband and I both use iPhone 13 Pros (fully updated). When I get in my 2016 MME GT, with my keyfob and my phone, the car connects to husband's phone if he's in the vicinity. SO annoying. Checked our Profiles, both are set to our individual phones. Problem seems to have started with last MME update (3.3.1) and seems like it must be related to the advanced dual phone "upgrade". We never want both our phones connected so would love to turn this off. Pretty much ready to just delete husband's phone and make him re-connect whenever he drives my car. Any suggestions are welcome!

You can’t do anything about it. The new advance door phone function no longer allows the profiles to sync to a “favorited” phone. Another poor design by Ford.

The 3.3.1 updates has been nothing but issues for us. I’ve done two master resets now, simply for PaaK issues, and phone pairing issues.

As an intern fix, we’ve turned off wireless CarPlay, and just plug in.
