Mirrors don’t fold sometimes.

It seems more often than not the mirrors don’t fold when I press the lock icon. I have learned to open the door and slam it shut and that appears to fix it….until the next time it happens.
My first guess is a sensor or switch that needs to be activated a few times to clean it up.
Any ideas on where to start looking?

I have the same issue, but it's not locking with walk away. Driving me nuts, I have to hit the fob a few times, or use PaaK to close the doors. I've tried turning on off the mirrors, walk away... no luck. Also have reached out to Ford this week with my VIN.
