Mirrors don't fold anymore

Last weekend I brought my MME to a car wash. They physically folded in the mirrors. Now, they no longer fold when locking the car and the mustang projection next to the car is skewed (no longer parallel to the vehicle.

Anyone know if this is something I can fix myself, or if I need to go to the dealer?

And yes, "fold mirrors" is turned on in Sync.

Folding mirrors should not be folded manually. To reset them, follow these instructions from the manual:

To reset the power-fold feature, use the
power-folding mirror control to fold and
unfold the mirrors. A loud noise could occur
when you reset the power-folding mirrors,
this sound is normal. Repeat this process
as needed each time the mirrors are
manually folded.
