Drove to Jersey (from Mahopac, NY) to scoop up what I think is the first GT to hit the tri-state area.

Incredible vehicle. I test drove the premium a couple weeks ago and was already impressed with the giddy up of that trim. This beast is WILD!
Coming from my daily, a '20 Jeep Gladiator, which is a sluggish sloth by any comparison - the GT Performance was just a dream to drive.

At first I was hesitant about the Black & Bronze (wife wanted glacial grey) but boy it is fierce looking. Reminds me of Maliketh from Elden Ring or an ancient weapon of the gods hahaha.

Really impressed with everything truly. At the end of the day we needed a safer vehicle for my 3 week old daughter

and this vehicle got the IIHS Top Safety + , had better range than the Solterra and looks way nicer than the ioniq so it was a no brainier for me.

Beautiful vehicle. My first GT was black, I miss it, but I also love the Space White. The Glacial Grey is very similar to the Space White.

Black/Bronze is the best looking color combo for the Mach-E IMO. After 10 years driving black cars, I was ready for a change though, and went the opposite direction lol.

I agree both the car and baby are beautiful. I have an eight year old granddaughter who loves the feel being pushed into the back of her seat during acceleration. I tell her "only when safe conditions". Because you are new to the Mach-e, here are a few items you can investigate to keep it and your family safe with your new EV. I apologize in advance if these seem to be lecturing; not my intent.

First, set the Over-The-Air (OTA) updates to automatic and schedule a time when the Mach-e will not be driven. Mandatory OTAs can cause the vehicle to not be operable, if it is out and about. A lot of information on this forum in past posts.

Second, the acceleration is so rapid that other drivers may not expect you to move from behind to alongside them so quickly. Watch for lane changes. I noticed this during the first couple months owning my Mach-e.

Third, be aware of the maintenance items, particularly replacing the battery at 3 years, or whatever are the specs for your MME. You have plenty of time before this occurs.

Fourth, assuming you have a home charger do use the 'departure time' feature. You'll enjoy entering a warm car during the winter.

You will learn many other features and enjoy them. All the best.

I am sure some people like them, but to me, they look like some flower petals that might belong on a lesser car...maybe a Nissan Leaf?

The stock GT wheels are on the 2024 in that pic. My old 2021 is in front with the custom made wheels. This was just before the dealer swapped the wheels over. Technically, I have never owned a set of the base GT wheels. ??

Yeah, they really do look better in person than in photos. Since I had a bit of kibble sunk into much wider wheels and tires, I wanted to keep them. ??

I own a 23gt with those hippy wheels. Half the time I like like them, the other half I am shopping for new rims.

Yeah I had them on my '21 GT, then upgraded to the '22 GTPE. The funny thing is I got compliments on the flower wheels all the time, I don't think anyone has commented on the GTPE wheels.

Any disrespect was unintentional. Petals / Leaf...not as funny as I thought. Anyone choosing a Mach-E obviously has good stylistic taste.
