I got the new Beta app today, and it doesn't seem to work. No data appear in the fields. Any suggestions?

touch the "person" icon up top and see if you are logged in? Pull down the screen until refresh begins? (I'm just just guessing; I don't have the beta yet.)

Try logging out and back in if you can get to that screen. If not you would have to remove/reinstall the app but make sure you have the fob in case you lose paak access. I don’t always but I remember after one reinstall I had to re-Pair the phone as a key too.

I got the new Beta app today, and it doesn't seem to work. No data appear in the fields. Any suggestions?

Try going to your garage and back to your vehicle. It may also be worth physically turning on the vehicle.

The state you’re in is basically the app can’t open up (or hasn’t successfully opened) communications with the vehicle.

This could be an app bug (unlikely) but is easy to recover from by going from the garage back to the vehicle.

Check you have good internet, no VPN, and everything there is good and/or appropriately disabled that might block web traffic inadvertently. Also check your vehicle permissions.

A reinstall of the app won’t do anything for this issue that can’t be resolved without a reinstall just as an FYI.

Note: I’m mostly speaking for the iOS app while the Android app is a bit different (hehe) same ideals should apply.

Mine did the same thing this morning, had me log in but came up with blanks. I switched back to the original and then back to beta and that seemed to work

I have an android and a new version of Fordpass popped up ready to install. I installed it. Nothing else.

I have the same problem.

At the bottom are "Vehicle", "Energy", "Service". Select one of these, then back to "Vehicle" and now the grey controls should be filled in.

I SUSPECT: When you start the app the screen wants to display quickly so the app feels 'snappy'. But it cannot show controls until after the app and the car communicate. This handshake takes a few seconds in real time. Once this happens the control widgets get filled in. You have to click away to a different section, then come back to get the screen/controls to refresh.

How far away you are from the car, on WiFi vs Bluetooth, etc., probably all have an effect.
