Finally pulled the EV trigger yesterday. Couldn't pass up the Ford Power Promise, and the $8000 Red Carpet Lease deal.

Star White Metallic, 2024 GT with performance upgrade. Got the full clay bar and detail done on her tonight, and man does the white pop. I will get some daytime pictures to really show off the paint, but here's a decent picture.

The original GT-Performance Edition cars had 634 lbs/ft of torque. The GT has 600. The 2024 and newer GT with the Performance Upgrade (PU or Pee-Yoo) has 700. Additionally the 2024 GT lacks a special feature of the 2021-2023 GT: The surprise feature that wasn’t known to us early adopters known as the 5 second limiter, which cuts 40% of the car’s maximum power at either 5 seconds of WOT or above 80mph. The 2024 and newer still have a limiter, but it’s one that lasts more than 11.8 seconds and higher than 80mph. ??

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification! I can confirm there's definitely no power cut in the first....10 seconds or so. I've driven some fast cars before, but there's nothing quite like that instant, neck snapping 700 ft-lbs. of electric torque with AWD.
