Ordered April 2, 2021 expecting a mid summer delivery. Took delivery week before Thanksgiving in rural Chenango County, NY. Road trip start in snow, ice, cold to Warrenton, VA, 2 DC charges on the way to get to family festivities. Charged to 100% at VA home, trip to car wash to rid of road salt, but then would not start at local shopping mall parking lot at end of holiday weekend. Ford Roadside Assistance arrived in timely manner but second truck with dolly system was called to tow to local Ford dealer. Received “12 volt battery fault” notification on FordPass hour after no start. Contacted dealer the Monday after the Sunday tow and told that with only one EV certified tech, it would take time to evaluate. One week later we have no communication from dealer. FordPass tells me that my car went to sleep and that it is fully charged with about 30 additional miles than full charge in cold upstate NY. I assume it is inside a climate controlled garage. Stay tuned.

Sounds like an issue with the 12 volt battery. There was an early software bug that caused the car not to maintain the 12v battery's charge properly and it would die from an undervolt condition, but that was fixed long ago. Hopefully recent updates haven't introduced another bug in that area.

The 12V actually runs all the electronics and systems other than the drivetrain.
