Ok, ever since the latest, greatest update 4.1.2, but it 'says' 4.1.3 is going to install when it feels like it.

1) When I receive the first text of the day, or the first text after some time off. i.e. on the way to work in the AM or on the way home in the PM the text notice will chime, I'll hit the steering wheel button and ask eVee to "read text message". She'll say "Here's your text message" the SYNC will display the phone section and buttons and it will show who the text is from, then it goes back to the music Satellite/USB/whatever's playing. It DOESN'T play/read the text message until I ask her again. to read it. Then it works from then on, until I shut it off for an extended period of time.
I can stop off at the store on the way home for 30 min, come back out and if I get a text message, she will read it normally. Bu if she's been off for a time, few hours maybe? I have to repeat asking her to read the text message she 'thinks' she's already read.

/yes, I've reset the SYNC screen as the USB decided that it would start playing Satellite *behind* the USB and all controls were dead on the USB part of the screen, when I changed 'tracks' it changed stations...

2) PAAK which has worked (as far as walk-away lock) very well. I can still always come up to the car and it'll unlock and before I would be able to walk away MAX 4 car parking widths and it would honk, mirrors fold, and lights flash. Now I can be across the parking lot before it does the Mach E 3-step to lock the car. And the App lies to me and says "Walk away lock successful" when really, it was just a Time-Out lock.

Is there anything I can adjust to bring back 'close' lock so I don't have to manually lock my doors like some caveman? (park in the alley and the last thing I want to do is wait for the car to time out and give the alley denizens the opportunity to check out their new Mach E)

3) The new 4.1.2 added the Front Camera button, but took away the e(X)it button from the Rear camera view. I could understand if you were in reverse it wouldn't/shouldn't let you exit from the camera, but when you dial back to D, the e(X)it button should show up. I hate to have to turn off Rear Camera Delay, but it seems in order for the one place I need to 'wiggle/adjust' D, R, D, R it can't be helped.

At least after many module updates, OTA, and some fixes, at last the Mach E is running better/normal.

I don’t understand the text thing. I use Apple CarPlay so maybe this is a SYNC issue.

PAAK has always been flakey. I don’t think this is connected to 4.X.

I don’t understand the issue with the cams, but then again I don’t understand the point of backup cam delay. I don’t want to have to tap an X to turn off my cams.

I like the delay. When pulling into my garage, I quickly shift to R, then back to D. I can pull in and see exactly where my back bumper is, much better than the 360 cam.
I’ve never X’d out of the camera. In delay, the backup cam shuts off once you reach 5 MPH.

PAAK broke the walk-away with the CSP 21B36 update

Normally you don't need to tap X to turn of the backup cam, just spin to D and they go off, it's only in Delay mode where they stay on in D mode until you hit ~5MPH.

When I need to charge, I need to front in (at an angle because of side fence), then back up (limited space), then front in, better angle, then one more back up, then front in.

But because of the delay, I have to wait for the camera to go off before I can hit the front camera.

It's annoying that the old (prior to 4.1.2) had an e(x)it button so when I spun the dial to (D) it would shut off and I could hit the camera button.

It's the only place where the rear camera delay is a bother.
