Yesterday I sat in the car with the AC running while my wife went into Aldi for a few things. Given the temperature, I saw no reason to turn the engine off and get hot.

I noticed that every 10 - 15 seconds, almost like clockwork, the vehicle made a hum noise like it was adjusting something. Sounded like it was coming from the dash. I'd say it was the thermostat adjusting, but that's way too often.

Anyone else notice this?

If it doesn't do that with the A/C off, it's the A/C cycling. Every 10-15 seconds seems a bit short, but not harmful.

Try it again and when the 10-15 cycle starts again turn the thermostat down. If it's the A/C it should run longer to catch up.

I'll check that, but there was no noticeable change in air temperature, volume, etc. In my ICE vehicles, there would be.
