Original Ford key battery change

I’ve the Ford style keys not the Mustang branded ones. Anyway changed batteries in Ford fobs may many times never an issue, changed one of the keys and it’s dead. Any ideas, tried a battery I know is fine, and swapped them over in a matter of 30 seconds.

Problem solved, went for a run came back and bingo it’s now working

May have a capacitor in the fob that needed to charge-up once the battery switch.....or.....maybe just needed a jiggle on the run?!¿ ; )
