So the paint on my rear fender falir has started to peel off. It been over a week and my local dealership has been to busy to submit my claim to ford...

Good morning! Can you please send over a message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer? I would like to look into your Mach-E's paint issues on my end.

Ford has denied my claim and will not fix my paint issue
They state harsh chemicals where used on my car and that what casued the damge. I have no idea how they came to that, but it bull. I never used harsh chemitcals on my car.
I am very dissapointed in Ford. Out of the dozen cars I have owned I never had a issue like this.

Looks most likely like improper prep before the paint application of the plastic fender trim. Dealer should pressure Ford to make the right decision, and warranty the repair. Grabber Blue in that state, will get all the wrong attention.

It's hard to tell, but it looks like there is damage on the fender adjacent to the trim piece. As far as I know, the pieces are prepped and painted separately...

Sorry for your pain. I would take it to a reputable bodyshop, and get an estimate for repair. A body-man, is going to know the paint bubbled from improper prep or contamination. With the estimate in hand, go to another Ford Dealer, and persuade them to make it right. It should be any easy decision for them.

The General Service Bulletin they quoted in the document they gave you, clearly shows your defects as warrantable. I would arm yourself with as much documentation as you can, and I think you will have a good result.

Good eye, I am still fighting this issue. I really hope Ford changes there mind. I do really love my Mach E, and It hurts seeing it like this.
