Paint Peeling and Imperfections

Mine is doing the same thing right under the headlight. Started out looking like an imperfection in the paint, then started to blister, now the blister is popped and peeling.

Unfortunately this is not uncommon. My car’s front bumper got vandalized when the car was a few months in my possession. The paint under the left headlight was already starting to peel. The mobile touch up shop that fixed the vandalism damage also fixed the peel there and several rock chips on the hood too for no additional cost. ??

Had my car for about a month now. Was getting it ppf and the detailer noticed it too on my car!

Just brought it to dealer, where they are sending pics to Ford. I hope they can get it fixed. The service advisor was saying that while driving the MachE bumper may be a little loose/uneven to the headlights and car. I took my hand and slid my fingers around between the bumper and headlights both side and I think hes right. The left side had a little gap.

Relax just for a moment. @Ford Motor Company is a different group of people than those you talked to before hand. They can help get things straightened out and help get information to the proper people. They did a good job by me in my one issue.

I keep hearing about paint issues even on newer models (2024/2025), and unfortunately, I experienced it with my new car. The black paint on the front bumper of my brand new 2024 Mach-E Premium Extended Range Battery peeled very easily when fresh PPF was being removed/replaced, suggesting ongoing factory paint issues.
