We were rear-ended on the freeway. Our dealer fixed every like new. Six thousand in damages. When everything was settled, I requested diminished value from the other parties insurance and received a $3500 payment. You have too ask for diminished value compensation. Good luck.My 2022 Mach E Premium AWD ER with 14,570 miles was in a minor ($4,500 to repair, of which $1,000 was to remove/install new PPF film) accident about 2 months ago. I was planning to sell it but there were USPS and DMV issues that greatly delayed the arrival of the title for a replacement vehicle.
Right after the accident and before Carfax updated, I request trade-in values from Carvana, CarMax, etc. and they were generally in the $30-$32K range through mid-June.
The damage has been since fixed, but now I am consistently getting offers of $25-26K, with some outliers lower, but nothing higher.
Has anyone traded in or sold a similar Mach E (either dealer or private party) recently? If so, what are you seeing for values? If so, did it have an accident history?
Has anyone successfully received a diminished value payout to account for this? Any recommended services to use?
