The 2026 has a heat pump which increases winter range, but at the expense of a much reduced frunk. If you do get a 2026, drive it awhile and see if you like the new suspension. If you feel it can stand improvement, the single biggest upgrade you can make is to replace the OEM Premium spring with Rally springs. Adding Eibach sway bars is a good choice as well. But keeping your 2022 longer is really the best way forward. I'll be keeping mine for the next few years; likely until the extended warranty runs out in 2030...

I just got ā€˜25 premium RWD and I could say that suspension significantly improved. I wouldn’t replace springs on ā€˜25, Eibach sway bars would make sense.

Update: this is my 1st week impression, probably I need to ride it more and compare more to my CR1 that has Rally springs and Eibach sway bars

I just bought a low mileage 23-GTPE, could justify the price vrs new and saw nothing worth the added price for 25/26. As far the ride my 23gt is superior to my non-gt 22.

I bought a 2022 GTPE with Magnaride new in 22. While I still love the car after 30+k miles, I’ve never been impressed with the ride or noticed much improvement from Magnaride over other models I’ve been in.

This was recently confirmed when a recent surgery has me confined to riding in the back seat (apparently due to airbag deployment hazard). Previous rides with my wife in the passenger seat of her zoom-zoom Audi sports car confirmed that she’s a pretty steady driver and not a rough driver, BUT… Riding in the back seat of the GTPE is pretty darn rough and I don’t blame her driving.

My plan is to keep the GTPE until something better comes along, which I haven’t seen any evidence of yet. And resume driving from the front seat in a few weeks šŸ˜Ž

Magnaride to the MME’s too-stiff suspension is the same as heat pump to the MME’s winter range loss. Negligible impact.

Some ā€œMustangā€ dweebs at Ford decided the MME needed a ā€œsport tunedā€ suspension and kind of an almost literal pain in the ass. There’s a lot to love about this car and I’m standing pat for several more years, but a significantly softer ride will one of several criteria for my next ride.

You guys who love loud engines and want to ā€œfeel the roadā€ā€¦ I don’t get you guys. We are not the same.
