After a good cleaning like you’ve described, I coat the glass with Rejex polymer coating, applied properly. The coating repels water so well I hardly need wipers at all. Others may have differing opinions, but Rejex works for me.Just want to say thanks to everyone for the advice. Here is what I did:
it was like a layer of wax was on the glass. These steps made a world of difference
- Magic eraser
- isopropyl with news paper
- used a razor blade in specific areas
- buffed with high quality microfiber
- replaced wiper blades with Bosch.
