Rear cargo area lighting setting?

Well, I hunted high and low through the settings along with reviewing the manual and I have determined that I am overlooking the obvious (as in , right in front of my face)or there is just something , somewhere in the settings I am not seeing!! Problem is when the lift gate is opened the interior lights are not lit , only the pony in the middle of each. The light ahining directly out is on. Is anyone aware of where the setting is to turn those two lights on in the lift gate??

Do you have the interior lights disabled when you open the door? Button on the overhead console.
