Any updates to the recommendations posted here? I see some posts like, "I just got them and they're okay, waiting for a heavy snow."
Haven't driven my 22 GTPE in winter yet and I'm a bit anxious in Ontario, which gets heavy snow. I need new rims and tires, obviously.

We had over 100” of snow last winter in my Wisconsin location and the Michelin X Ice were excellent. Best winter tires I have used in 50 years of winter driving in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Swapped track tires to all Terrain tire. Nito Grappler

Left damn tracks @ Discount as give away to low income customer. Stock had rubber chunks missing after a curb. Black wheel has scratches. Wheel only scratches I'll leave alone.

We went with Bridgestone BLIZZAK LM005 in 245/45R20

https://www.bridgestonetire.com/catalog/ford/mustang-mach-e/2022/gt-performance-edition/#

I had to order them through Tire Rack and they were delivered to and installed by Discount Tire.

BTW, they have a "valet" service where they store your out-of-season tires for you ... so you don't have to bring them back to the shop every time you need to do the seasonal swap. IF you own a second set of rims (so they don't have to un-mount and re-mount tires) it's a lot cheaper. I want to say it was $120 per season (but un-mounting and re-mounting tires was $25 per tire ... so there's $100)

I found someone who wanted to get rid of their factory rims in favor of something else ... and they were selling their factory rims at a pretty good deal.

It's crazy, I'm in Chicago and it's 72 today- we are expecting a cool down starting tomorrow - high of 43( that's Chicago ?). So we do get a lot of snow, so hopefully they are all good. Unless it's in the 60's in December ??.
Thanks for the feedback.
My friend - we do not get a lot of snow here unless you live in "Chicago" but actually in NW Indiana.

But - I got my '23 in December last year and had them install PS4AS and they worked swimmingly in our winter last year.

Last year, you had to take what you could get. I got the last Blizzak LM001 tires that Discount Tire/Tire Rack had & it was only late November.

Blizzak and Michelin X-Ice are always going to be pretty good I would think.

Next set, I'll try and get something more fancy like Hakkареliitta 10 EV or other special winter EV Tire but they really didn't exist last year.

New 2022 GTPE. Just put a winter rim, tire and tpms setup on. I also went with the Michelin X-Ice. Very few miles yet but so far so good.

They look great!
Close to being flush with the fender?
I opted to order winters that will go on my stock GT rims. Will be ordering a new set sometime in January but want to get the width and offset just right. Was thinking about 20 or 21 x 8.5 or 9.

I live in MD where we rarely get snow but often get days below 40° F, so I switched to Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4s year-round. I don't need the extra performance of summer tires, nor the extra expense and storage space of a second set of wheels/tires. Been super happy with the Michelins so far.
Just curious if you still like the Michelin's?

Love 'em! Quiet, great ride, and minimal wear. I'll definitely replace with another set when they're due.

Last year, as other have said, I took what I could get, which turned out to be a set of Select rims with General Tire Altimax Winter in a 225/60 R18 104T. After running X-Ice on almost everything for the last ten years I was really really hesitant. But after a decent winter with a few deep snowfalls I was quite happy. I didn't know GT is a Conti brand, and the tires are made in Germany.

Also, if you plan to run steelies make sure they have the right rating for the GVW - I never planned on it, so I didn't look around. I was also looking for "easy", and this tire package (which I purchased from the dealer) was certainly easy.
