Seat covers

Noticed that the seat cover on the driver's side has some small marks/tears. I asked my dealer to look at this in connection with service. They ordered a new seat cover immediately. Very satisfied with the service, but a little concerned how well the seat covers will hold up as the car gets older. Mine is a ‘22 mileage 24k km/14 k miles.
One of my friends also own a MME, asked him to check, same problem….
