Hello,
Please help me understand.
Received a "scheduled for production" of 9/5. On my vehicle page, it now has "in production" as the next, non-green checked circle and no longer has "scheduled for production" anywhere. Have they redesigned website with different terms, or has my car really entered production?

Thanks.

In production will be partially green when they get it on the production line, if I'm remembering correctly. You should also have access to the window sticker now.

To answer your question, they consider it "in production" when you have a scheduled build date. It doesn't mean it's actually being built.

I don't think you're missing anything. The entire tracking system seems to be designed to be as confusing as possible. I think they recently made some changes to try and make this more clear but it's still confusing. Either that or things change when you're at a different stage.

Way back, it used to look like this

Seems pretty confusing to state on the tracker that placing the order is 'in progress' ... what does that mean? Is my order placed or not??? Does this mean that Ford does or does not have my order yet?

Then later you get a build week and only NOW placing the order is complete? What the heck?

And then, either they updated how the interface looks or switched to a different output. Shipped is 'in progress' ??? did it ship or didn't it? Looking down shows that it shipped?

I guess they are trying to simplify the number of tracking steps but in my opinion they have only made the whole tracking process a complete mess and more confusing and ambiguous than it should be.

They'll probably get a window sticker generated the week of the 29th I believe.

Thanks so much! Glad I am not the only one seeing things change on my screens. Now, on my order page, it doesn't even say the week it is scheduled for production, it just gives links to view vehicle and financing. As with yours, it now goes from "placed order" to "in production" to "shipped"...took "built" out of the line!! Window sticker is not available, so I suppose that is pretty good indication that things have not rapidly sped up their timing.

Thanks, again.
