Hello all,
I am a bit confused. Earlier today while out with family. We all got into the car and started it up and the "Service Soon"screen came up along with the wrench icon and the red car icon with the ! on it. We ended up just heading home once we saw this since we were quite aways from it. I got home and plugged in my ODC scanner following the steps in the manual.
It scanned and then reported "No Codes". This scanner is like i don't know 5 years old or something now, so I decided to head to AutoZone. The guy there was about to say the whole "I cant help you at all deal" once I said it was electric and explained the situation. I approached it asking if it was maybe a compatibility issue of my scanner being old or something, so I suppose he might have taken it as meaning the car didnt even have the port.
Anyways, once I cleared it up, he was like we can try ours. We plugged in his and it collected the information and we plugged it into the computer inside. It also reported that there were no codes. The only thing he could guess was maybe it was something to do with it being hot out? Anyways, I am just trying to pull the code so I have an idea of what it is - clearly I don't have a damn clue what it is at all now.
This happened to anyone before? I am guessing the only thing I can do is call Ford on Monday? I checked the FordPass app and it is showing a Good Vehicle health status. I am tempted to just plug in my ODC scanner and clear the "codes"
