Whose roof carrier is that? I see the box is Thule but the rack doesn't look like my Thule rack. Have you logged a good number of miles with the box up there and can you tell us about how it affected your range?

I drove the MME over to get several propane tanks filled. Dude took a picture of his first EV pulling up to buy fossil fuel. , different visit I went inside the hardware store and there was a pix posted of my MME with two propane tanks sitting next to it. Funny...caption was "The Belt and Suspenders Approach to Driving"

These are Thule’s Wingbar edge.
I drove from Amsterdam to Spain and back with the box mounted this summer ~ about 2000 milles.

The car was fully packed with three passengers and two (small) dogs. Full frunk and full trunk. We had to charge every 2,5-3 hours (20 -> 85%) driving an average speed of 115km/h.

Weight and speed are affecting range more than a good roofbox. I use a Thule Motion 800 because of the matching colors. Top quality construction, about one inch above the car and very quiet. Ponies added?
