This AM my wife traveled to visit her mom as a daily event. On the way back home the display comes up with a Hardware error for the Sirius radio. Got no clue as to what would cause this. Anybody got any ideas?

Did you try rebooting Sync? Hold volume down and skip forward buttons.

I did not. She called our dealership and set a appointment for the 30th. I believe that's part of the APIM. But not certain. We bought a Mini SE 2 weeks ago and Sirius thought we sold the Mach-E and had turned it off for the Mach-E. That was Monday. So I may be looking at this wrong. But I know security has gotten forefront with Ford.

After a reboot it has started working again. But since it set a code, should I ignore it or visit the dealer? Probably just a software issue, but still irritating. Haven't seen any updates since early September. That was 22-PU0706-SCH-POPA. 2.8.2 before that.

I wouldn't go to the dealer unless it happens again personally. Not worth the headache. The SiriusXM tuner is in the ACM which requires removal of the dash to replace.

Ok, update. Sync and Sirius died again so we took it to the dealer to be checked. Well don't you know that the APIM is bad and has to be replaced. Waiting for it to come in at this point. I understand it take a lot of time to change it. Can anyone confirm this?
