I need help please. Four weeks ago I got two warning messages from my Mach-E (AWD ER) - "Powertrain Malfunction" and "High-Voltage Battery Warning." I took the car to the dealer (it took a week to get an appointment). They did some software updates but the messages popped up again within a day so they asked to keep it for a while. Last week a Ford rep came out and determined that a couple of cells in the battery are bad. Now the dealer is trying to get a special tool that is needed to finish the repair but apparently none are to be found. It has now been a month since the messages popped up and I have been without the car for over two weeks.

The Connecticut "Lemon Law" can be invoked if a problem is not resolved in 30 days so this car may qualify. I hate to call the Mach-E a lemon because I love the car (and given that the delay is due to the lack of a tool really the company is the lemon, not the car) but I also want a usable car.

Does anybody have information on who I can contact at Ford to get things moving faster?

Good news: I heard from the Mach E team this morning. While the dealer didn't have the needed tool, Ford has their Field Engineers there this morning with the needed tools. Fingers crossed they will resolve this issue soon.
