I didn't try it because I assusmed it would be the same as the Youtube app and only work while parked. I'll try later.

When I had the ability to watch You Tube parked in a parking lot anywhere it was kind of cool. I could leave the Wife in the car and she could watch that while I was doing something outside. So when I got rid of the premium service, I said well I’ll just turn on my hotspot on my phone. It will not let you connect and watch YouTube as far as I can tell if there’s a trick to it and I don’t know if I’ve tried watching YouTube in my driveway connected to my Wi-Fi, I’ll have to go check that later, but I know I think I tried to turn my phone into a hotspot and it wouldn’t connect.

Oh I don’t know. BlueCruise is pretty much worthless to me, so I’m all for prioritizing a greater Karaoke catalog. And expand the sketchpad app capabilities. You know — important things!

Can you turn your phone into a mobile hotspot and connect the car to that? Then you wont need to sub to the premium connectivity plan.

But just like all the other apps and games they keep loading on the car…… my phone already does this better.

You can sing karaoke on your phone any time anywhere. Even while driving.

But I’m going to bet the amount of people who have downs this while in a Mach E in the last 3 years is….. zero.

So while 100% could have at any time and zero have…… not sure why Ford thought this was the next great feature people were asking for. ?

But it's kinda cool to watch Bluey on that glorious centerstack with the grandkids waiting on Sonic Rainbow Slushies.

After...best to put Beosonic in "party" preset for Mach-E karaoke night. ?

I showed the Karaoke to some Gen Z folks I know, they thought it was about the coolest thing ever (you could argue they're easily impressed with novelty). Definitely targeting a younger demographic. I know there are much more coveted updates out there, but it could still be fun for some people even if the grumpy old mens club doesn't approve.
