Hi all, long time lurker first time poster
I have a 2022 Mach e premium AWD extended range, built October 2022 (after the new HVBJBs were rolled out). I believe my vehicle is fully updated (4.2.5). Odo ~3800 miles.
Vehicle displayed "Service Vehicle Soon" on the screen and lit up a red vehicle icon with an "!", and an orange wrench. I did not receive "Stop Safely Now" so I continued driving <5 mins to my destination and turned the vehicle off. I did not notice reduced power, but tbh I didn't have any opportunities to go fast.
After ~15 minutes, I went back to my vehicle, turned it on, immediate SVS, still no SSN, so I drove the vehicle back to my house. I experienced significantly reduced drive power, however I do not see a turtle icon on the dash.
I backed into my driveway (and I left the vehicle in the driveway, not the garage). Immediately called my dealer service center, and they've scheduled me for an appointment with their ev tech in 2.5 (!) weeks. Fordpass messages are "high voltage battery warning" and "powertrain malfunction".
Now... the dealer says I can continue driving the vehicle for the next few weeks until the appointment. Is that right? Is that safe? thanks for your help
