To the Mods: Ignore thread option does not work

There are times, too many times, where annoying threads get pushed to the top of the front page, even promoted as "news" stories. I try to use the Ignore button to hide these threads. I even make sure to check both the "News feed" and "Threads list" options. However, the annoying threads that I have no interest still show up on the front page.

How can I hide these threads once and for all?

Might need to nuke it from orbit. Its the only way sure.

There's a limit for how many threads you can ignore....maybe you reached the limit?

Try un-ignoring a buch of older threads?

Thanks for the tip, but I don't think I have that many. Probably a dozen or so and none of them have ever worked.

Any idea where I can check to see my ignored threads are? I found my ignored users easy enough, but threads seem to be hidden away somewhere.

Thanks! My count was off. I have a whopping 17 threads ignored.

Hopefully a mod can chime in and let us know if the feature is working as intended or not.
