As I'm driving my 2025 Mach e, I keep hearing an occasional double beep chime, and I don't see any alerts anywhere on either of the screens. Is there a way to see what the alerts are somewhere?

Probably the built in navigation trying to be ā€œsmartā€. Go into the navigation app and in the settings turn off anything that says like suggested destinations or something like that. Not sure what the exact wording was.

It's likely the navigation options that alert you to railroad crossings or school zones... Check through those settings.

Predictive destinations only alert within the first 100 seconds or so after starting the vehicle. They can't be permanently disabled due to unresolved bugs in SYNC, though.

Turn off traffic alerts in the built in nav.

Also, are you connected via CarPlay, with Waze active? Wondering if it is an over X speed notification or some other Waze notification...

You have your speed alert turned on, you can have it on 2 modes, alert by sounds 2 beeps and visual notifications, you can choose which one. Go into settings and turn off

I think I recall older threads stating that Navigation was telling you that a turn was upcoming even if you didn't have it turned on. IIRC, enable a route then cancel it to reset Navigation so that it won't do that. šŸ¤”šŸ©

I’ve also had the nav guess that, for instance, I’m driving home and it will alert me to a delay on the route. This can happen even if the route isn’t active. If I’m not looking at Ford Nav, I never know why.

I get a 2 note alert when a text comes through on my phone. Not really beeps, more like a low octave bell sound.
