A hail damage insurance payout was good enough for me to upgrade from a used 2022 select, up to a 2023 GT extended range with half the miles woohoo! The GT is a lot better in every way. I expected the power, but the suspension is heads and shoulders better too.

The picture is from the brief few hours of overlap the cars had together.

BTW, what's the difference between a 180 and a 182? My cousin had a 182 RG a few years back, which was a nice aircraft.

BTW, what's the difference between a 180 and a 182? My cousin had a 182 RG a few years back, which was a nice aircraft.
When they both first came out the only difference was that the 180 was tailwheel (more rugged but more difficult to land) and the 182 is tricycle gear. But like say an expedition and an F150 the 182 development split from the 180 into a little less utilitarian platform, it got wider, heavier and had more bells and whistles whereas 180s remained utilitarian.

182RG is a sweet plane. The RG is for retractable gear which gained the plane a good 20-25 knots of cruise speed.

The RG with its small tires didn’t do as well in grass strips. Especially tall wet grass.

Loved our 182RG. Here are a couple of picture. One with my wife flying it doing 163 kts GS, you can see her hand on yoke.
