use EV to power home during power outage

What"s the best way? It seems there should be a better way to access that big battery, turn it into AC power with an inverter and power fridge and other appliances. Only thing I was successful at was using an ecoflow delta 2, then charging delta 2 for 10 hours using cigar lighter plug in car. I tried using a large inverter, but that didn't work seems the max inverter size is 400 watt which I just got one and will try to run at least the fridge with it tomorrow to test it out in preparation for hurricane Milton here in Tampa. Any other ideas?

Or maybe get a back-up generator or power wall for your house.

you really need:
1) a bi-directional EV (eg. Lightning, etc.- choices limited at present)
2) a bi-directional EVSE
3) an AC coupled, bimodal PV system solar array w/ critical load panel and battery backup
2) + 3) installed by certified solar expert (not a solar "installer")
3) has the most everyday advantage, esp. in Florida (running all electric house and EV charging directly off solar array)
There are minimal options (as referenced above) that may work, but not advisable

I did,, but it started connected to home in garage and more involved than I was looking for , but now read whole thread and understand, thanks
