I’m hoping by the end of life, there will be a solution to just put my own two 99kwh batteries to use as a whole home backup. Let my Solar production go there first before sending energy back to the grid. With almost 200Kwh available, I’d have about a week’s worth of power to use before I even had to go start the propane generator.

I’m sure it could be done with enough time, skill and money.

But it would likely be about as convenient as turning your old ICE into a backup generator.
