(Video prof) Cruise Control (CC) activates below speed limit

Take a look at this video I took just now. Why can I activate the CC from a standstill in a parking lot? As long as the car is in drive when hitting the CC button, the car will launch forward form standstill. The slow acceleration is due to whisper mode and I am NOT pushing down throttle. Worth noting that this is fresh in the parking lot - the car has not been in traffic yet or moved. Also managed to trick it once to activate CC by first activate it (button, then tells too slow speed for activation), then change into gear to automatically accelerate, but that just worked once before video and could not reproduce it.

When I realized the other day is, I hate when I hit that school zone at the wrong time and it’s 15 miles an hour and I can set that to 15, man is that a crawl but it’s better than sitting there trying to adjust the pedal and you look down and you’re actually doing 20.

Yeah it doesn’t happen always. Can’t manage to reproduce it today. I primarily posted it to proof that the CC is really buggy, and not just users imagination things as some members are quickly to point out. Actually, regardless the function I would be fine with it IF it was consistent. Problemer here is that it behaves different from time to time, making it a danger. I hope Ford takes it seriously and make sure that whatever functionality; it works the same all the time.
