Volume knob for climate control without tapping

What @Ford Motor Company needs to do is toggle between the modes when you tap the volume knob.
In volume mode, tap to go to temperature, tap to go to fan, …
After a short time out, it goes into volume mode by itself.

How does "auto heat" work? Does it measure your body temperature via the seats or something? Or is it trying to keep it relative to the outside temperature?

I am glad that setting once and forgetting is working for you, but based on whether I am hopping into the car in the morning or returning from a long hike at 1pm I like to adjust my target temperature.

Change your temp with the voice command. No touching big knob or looking at screen required. Heat vent duct modes and fan speed do require a screen touch first plus big knob rotation, however.
