Waze Misguidance

I recently took a trip from Detroit to Grand Rapids, Michigan. I stopped at an Electrify America charging station and it was a very good experience. However, coming home, after I set "home" as my destination, waze routed me to the next charging station instead. It took me a while to figure that out. Question is now, will this continue? Do I have to do something to make it stop misrouting?

Waze has no idea of your current battery level. For more accurate routing with battery integration on the Mach E, use Apple Maps (CarPlay), Google Maps (Android) or ABRP app.

The issue is: I wanted it to Route me home, instead it routed me to a charging station. It knew where I was and my state of charge ( which I had plenty of), but why did it route me to a charging station?

I didn't know waze could connect to our state of charge? I think if I've tried before it wouldn't pass the log in process?

I'll look this up since I like the police alerts better than Google maps even though Google bought Waze

Ok, I see you're asking why it sent you to a charger instead of home. Sounds like something in Waze settings or a glitch unrelated to our vehicle.

Okay. That was an assumption on my part since the range is on my phone and in my car and so is waze, so apparently it does not have access to that data set.

It's fairly easy to overwrite the 'Home' address with a new one. Probably done by accident...
