We bought our blue baby new and have had her for about a year now. It came time to replace our 2013 Ford Escape as well, and didn't really have a Mach-E in mind, but... after looking at other used options like a Model Y, Bolt EUV and Volkswagen ID.4, it eventually became clear that a Mach-E was still the best option /shrug

So here we are, with a 2023 Premium and a 2021 Select!

Us too!!!!! We have been a Ford family from the beginning. I had just replaced my 2017 Ford Fiesta with a vapor Blue 2024 select MACH-E. My wife's 2016 Escape started to have motor/transmission issues and we looked at several options but we ended up getting another 2024 MACH-E select in Glacier Gray. I have the comfort package and she went with more of the sports package. We are enjoying the heck out of it. Adding a pic of the ponies sleeping in the stable lol ?. It's hers and his.

Maybe I'm weird, but it's hard for me to fathom getting two of the same vehicle. Do you guys also have a truck, or do you just pay someone to do truck stuff? Are you "car people" or not car people? Each of my vehicles has a specific function- Hot Rod, Pony Car, Truck, EV commuter/beater, with a pending Super Car.

As someone who has owned a truck, sedan, sport coupe, muscle car, suv, and jeep I find the Mach e the perfect everyday commuter. I’ve found this size of vehicle gives a really good combo of suv size/spaciousness paired with an AWD electric motor for quickness. I don’t road trip and only charge at home so I can only speak for work commute and driving locally. My wife got one and I wanted to hate it…but ended up getting one myself. I assume a lot of us dual owners go that route. If I had the money and space I would have one of each vehicle type like you said! Lol. Anyway, that’s just my two cents.

I love my machE so much, but I can't imagine wanting to own two identical cars. I guess if two people had similar needs on the same day, like similar commutes, it might be the best move. I've always cycle-commuted to work, so we've never had the dual-simultaneous-commute problem.

I want to buy a 1979 super beetle EV conversion with 160km range for my second EV, but so far my wife won't let me buy something so old and frivolous.

I never thought we would have two Mach-Es but after owning one for a year and 1/2, and test driving a bunch of EVs , that’s what happened on my end as well. (We have a F150 for truck stuff) our suburban/semi rural lifestyle makes owning EV’s easy and I couldn’t find another EV that I enjoyed driving as much. (Mines a GT)

I had a truck, but didn't use it. So now I have a 24 Mach E GT as a daily, and when I need more space, more range, etc I have a 25 Explorer ST

The reality of it is that we wanted to go electric and also not spend a bunch of money, and that really limits the pool of options. We definitely wanted to leverage the used EV tax credit. Mach-E is definitely the sweet spot in that market, giving you all the important quality-of-life features from a car maker that respects quality. We considered a PHEV as well but my feeling was that we could potentially run into a bunch of maintenance issues on a vehicle that we frankly wouldn’t even be driving all that much.

In 3-5 years I think we might look at whether we can get an electric three-row SUV, but for the time being, we’ll have to rent a pickup if we ever find the need to move big stuff around, which is fine.

Stangy does the whole range of jobs, garden rubbish and stuff to the waste recycling centre, tools loaded from just behind front seats right back to tailgate for the work ‘n’ grunt, the commute around jobs usually c350 miles a day, the feel-good around town, hands on EV experience towards the EV “learn” to supplement the technicians EV training I did, and just the love for a great car and an iconic brand?
