24-PU-CLS-CFG Software Update

Not sure if this is new since most OTA notes are copy-paste. Just got this update and ipc now sees taillights on the car (similar to Tesla) and I now have a decimal in odometer. All IPC notifications are also bold for better visibility while driving. Last update was in march for Tesla support. No other noticeable changes.

i don’t recall seeing this one yet - 2021 JOB 2 in Ea.

I’m curious what you mean about the taillights though, do they show a blinking animation on the car icon as well when the blinker is on now?

Mine do, not blinkers though just when I brake manually. Job1 AwD select. Also just noticed lock on door works fast so this might be a ford “catch up” update from reading previous forums. I am happy with it so far.

Maybe this fixes the 1mph/1kmh while the vehicle is stopped?

Tested a quick drive, did not get the 1 mph bug when at a stop sign/stand still. Wish Ford would provide these details when providing their consumers an update is provided.

Release note could say something like “Fixes speedometer reading 1mph while stopped”

If you could capture a photo with / without braking to see the difference that would be cool! If you can do it safely of course, e.g. in Park.

Agreed! My biggest issue with so far with ownership is release notes for “improvement” but being the same notes as the past 2 years

Does the car icon go away if you shut off cruise control, and lane assist (via buttons on steering wheel)?

Unfortunately it does not, my car is stuck in middle of screen now even after turning all driver assist options. I also lost the tail light animations this morning, car is back to all white color. I am not in EA.

There were never tail light animations.

I wouldn't assume this is "fixed". I see it once in a while and it is not repeatable or reproduceable by me. It just happens occasionally. So even taking a couple drives might not give you the full picture.

So the fix & decimal is only change? Hope I don't have to program Power Bar again.

Mind sending me your VIN? I would like to see how this differs from the version in 6.8.0, or if is the same update but just rebranded as a PU.
