#ComingSoon - False Fordpass Notification for the Door Recall

Ford is pushing alerts to schedule and resolve the recalls, but there is still no fix for the 2021 Job 1 Mach-e. What great internal communication between teams that they can push alerts that are relevant to the vehicle I own.

Only a minor irritation to get the alert and think the recall fix was ready - only to be let down - it’s still #comingsoon.

Purely speculation, but I'm guessing someone mixed up time zones and sent this out a day early. Wouldn't it be something if it was actually supposed to go out tomorrow? One can hope.

I received an identical message on my Ford Pass app on September 4 at 2:47 PM.
I've been waiting to hear anything about this outstanding "recall". Sounds like they are ready to release the update.

I received the same notification. Got kind of excited about nothing! They could have at least given us more information about the what the fix will include. At a minimum, the fix should include providing information on the SOC of the LVB in FordPass. That would be more beneficial than tire pressure. Tire pressure is super easy to check on my own.

I got this same notification in FordPass a couple of weeks ago. I dug down and found the fix was not available for my 2024. I thought that was pretty poor communication but did not bother posting it.

yep, got the same.
entering VIN in the linked site took me to the 12v recall (only) that is still scheduled for "Q3"
I called my dealer to ask WTAF.
The LV recall fix is now expected in early November. Q4, but hey...

Yup. Simply poor coordination by Ford. Why send people a notification that cannot be resolved?

I got this notification for the 12V battery lockout recall regarding my 2024. I ignored it since the fix is not available. I will contact a dealer as soon as I hear that the official fix has been released so they can get credit for the FDRS update I will have done.

2024 Job2 GT. I got the notification today also and called the dealer to schedule an appointment.

I’ve been waiting for the stop sale to come off a new 2024 since July 14. Fingers crossed that the software is being released for 2021-2024s. I could bring my car home!!!
