We’re excited to offer forum members an exclusive opportunity to get an early look at the new F17 Plus!

We are currently recruiting testers and will send the F17 Plus free of charge in exchange for honest feedback. Testers are not required to pay any fees and can keep the dashcam for future use. All we ask for is an honest product review.

The F17 Plus is our latest four-channel dashcam. It doesn’t have unnecessary features and focuses on clear image quality with full coverage inside and outside the car, providing you with extra peace of mind on the road.

The front camera records in 2.7K and features the Sony starlight IMX675 sensor, enhanced with STARVIS 2 technology and WDR for impressive night vision. Even in low-light conditions, the road ahead remains clear.

The other three cameras record in 1080P providing complete four-channel coverage. The front and rear interior cameras each have four infrared lights, allowing clear recording inside the car even at night, offering around-the-clock protection. The dual interior cameras complement each other to cover blind spots, ensuring the entire cabin, especially the rear seats, is clearly recorded.

Review Requirements:
  • Complete the review within two weeks after receiving the product, and publish it in a new thread on this forum.
  • The product review should include the following:
    • Dashcam footage from all four cameras, captured during daytime and nighttime.
    • Photos or video showing the installation process of the dashcam.
    • Photos or video showing the installation process of the hardwire kit (optional).
This is an ongoing project, and each month we will offer as many spots as possible to members who wish to try the F17 Plus.

How to apply in the comments:
  • Confirm that you agree to the testing requirements, including the timing and content of the review.
  • Briefly explain your needs or expectations for a 4-channel dashcam.
We welcome applications from anyone interested in testing the F17 Plus, so feel free to apply in the comments. We will respond based on the applications. Wishing you all the best!

Update:

Thank you all so much for your enthusiastic applications!

Since we have a limited number of test products available each month, we may not be able to reply to everyone right away. But don’t worry, we do our best to offer as many testing opportunities as possible every month!

So please feel free to keep applying in the comments. If we don’t reach out to you this month, your chance might come next month!

Thanks again for all your amazing support and excitement — we truly appreciate it!

I would be happy to participate in testing the F17 Plus dashcam and fully agree to the review requirements, including providing daytime and nighttime footage from all four cameras, as well as documenting the installation process on my 2021 Mustang Mach-E First Edition.

My driving includes a mix of rural roads, congested highways, and small-town streets. This variety should provide a complete and realistic test of the dashcam system, showcasing how it performs across different lighting, traffic, and road conditions.

My main expectations for a 4-channel dashcam are reliable, high-quality video coverage with strong night vision, and complete interior/exterior visibility. With the Mach-E’s large windows and modern cabin, the interior footage will be an excellent way to demonstrate how well the dual infrared-equipped interior cameras capture detail, even in low-light environments. On the exterior, I’m particularly interested in how the Sony STARVIS 2 technology handles challenging nighttime driving on dark rural roads.

Beyond the technical aspects, I believe this test will also be of real value to other EV owners who are interested in practical, future-ready safety technology. A system like

the F17 Plus, with its focus on clarity and peace of mind, is exactly what drivers need in today’s mix of fast-moving highways and unpredictable local roads

Would also like to participate. I agree to all the testing requirements. I am looking for a dashcam that has 4k, a rear and inside the cabin camera, and possible in park mode as well. I do city, suburban, and highway driving on a regular basis. I expect the camera to be simple to use and install. I have a 2024 GTPE.

I am interested in installing, testing and reviewing the dashcam. I agree to all of the timing and review requirements.

We have 4 cars in the household and not a single car without a dashcam. We drive in northern CA and between highways and side roads, it is quite the jungle out here....

I had a Roav dashcam that did not record on a 40mph t-bone collision. Their offer was a 15% off coupon on their next purchace, which never happened. I have a FitCamX in my wife's RAV4 Hybrid and a Vantrue in my MME...

My expectations are:
- a "simple" install
- easy interface to both save clips and format the card as the MME is quite bumpy and my Vantrue locks recordings at too high of a rate for me, even in the lowest settings
- Average or better app to manage settings instead of using the teeny tiny screen
- High quality recordings even in low light
- Locking recordings when appropriate

My needs are:
- CA drivers... need I say more....
- Tons of construction going on around us, so lots of big trucks and debris and again, CA drivers going around those trucks
- Did I mention CA drivers?
- RTO is increasing traffic and people aren't happy about their commutes so the CA drivers are driving angry and reckless.

I am interested in participating. I agree to all of the requirements and will do an honest review. I drive rural, small town, highway, and sometimes city. I expect this to be easy to use and will provide help if I am in an accident to have proof of the incident.

I would like to participate. We have occurrances of "drive by" vandalism. Here a car drives close to a parked car and a rear seat passenger opens the door reaching out placing sharp objects under tires. I have also had the sidewall of a rear tire impaled with a safety pin - obviously not accidental.

I would like to participate in this project. Thanks for the opportunity! I live in a somewhat sketchy part of town and volunteer at a local hospital where I park in a parking garage. Quite interested to see what goes on when I'm not around :)

Hi! I’d love to take part in testing the F17 Plus. I confirm that I agree to the testing requirements — including completing the review within two weeks after receiving the product and providing footage, installation photos, and an honest review as requested.

As for my needs and expectations:

I’m particularly interested in testing the night vision performance, since I often drive in low-light and rural conditions and want to see how well the Sony STARVIS 2 sensor handles dark roads. The 24-hour parking surveillance feature is also very important to me, but I hope it’s designed efficiently so it doesn’t drain the car battery when parked for long periods. Finally, I’d appreciate having the flexibility to disable or turn off specific cameras when needed — for example, the interior ones when I’m driving alone.

Overall, I’m looking for a reliable, high-quality 4-channel dashcam setup that can provide full coverage and peace of mind without unnecessary complications. I’d be happy to provide detailed feedback and sample footage from both day and night drives.

Thank you

RedTiger . Thanks for the opportunity even though I missed it. Yesterday on 1-10 E towards Laplace, we had a group of motorcyclists lane splitting, riding both shoulders and going in excess of 90+. This would have been a perfect time to record for posterity. Also was a 2 hour drive home from the LSU ballgame to go 12 miles to bring my friend home. At least we got to have a nice long conversation. Maybe next time. Again, thank you.
