Ah, this is the newer model, so it will have more features, including DCFC support and a reverse camera. It may also have some ADAS features, though you'll need to look closely to see what's on the car. I've not looked at used prices for the newer cars, so I've no idea if this price is a good one. But at first glance it seems reasonable.
Kelley Blue Book is 34😳 but the car sells for 34 and some change new what is the ADAS?

Weird

ADAS is Advanced Driver-Assistance System; stuff like lane-keeping, blind-spot alerts, etc.

So tempting. Sucks that they are so far away.

I'm not an expert on making cars but I think if they made this Charger Daytona sit a little higher like a crossover and have four doors they might have found a market for it. I think a crossover just named Daytona would have been perfect in that situation.

Most of the reviews I saw on YouTube from the EV car guys said it was good functional but almost called it boring or did call it boring. This was not the car that was going to be doing donuts in an empty parking lot at midnight.

But a boring crossover might have had less boring sales numbers.

Also would have left the Challenger platform open for V8s, just rename it Barracuda and sell those hellcat engines for another 15 years.

I’ve owned a Chrysler product, all I have to say is “Chrysler makes one of the best looking cars on the road, only problem is, it’s a Chrysler!”.

I was waiting at the doctors office today and saw a motor trend magazine on the front cover was the Challenger EV and dark horse and they did an article and they’re comparing the two they gave the thumbs up for first place to the Mustang simply because it didn’t weigh according to what they said, literally 3 tons lol. But they said as far as the cool factor and Comfort they kind of gave that to the Challenger and the fact that it’s all wheel drive and the base price being in the 80,000 range. But if you find a low priced one like 28,000 with low mileage, I don’t know why someone would not jump on that if they were looking for like a cool muscle car with the electric vibe. I mean, if they can’t be worked on why sell them at the dealership. But then again I ran into that when I bought my Mustang at the Ford dealer they said we don’t handle electric cars. We just have this one and we don’t have anybody to work on them. I don’t how many people they have now. But I’ve got to think they’ve got more cause they’re selling them as well now. I meant to say 38,000 not 28. But you know I thought the hornet was their electric car as well but I just saw a brand new hornet GT for 28,000 but it was gas powered. I thought they were all electric for some reason. I’ve sat beside one in my rogue and they’re a pretty big vehicle not a bad looking car. I’m just curious what’s wrong with them? They didn’t sell a lot of of them I guess. ?

I think the Charger design is tired. That's one problem. Another is that a Charger/Challenger buyer is not likely to be an EV buyer. Where I live, driving an ICE Charger is a negative thing. I personally know some younger women that won't even date a guy if he drives one. I overheard them having a whole conversation about it.

The Hornet has a plug in version that is supposed get 32 miles on battery only. But with Toyota and others getting 40-50 miles battery range from their plug in vehicles it probably should have been full EV to make any impact.

I agree the Hornet is a pretty good looking vehicle from the ones I've seen. It's based on an Alfa Romeo and apparently they didn't change it much from the original.

Hornet is interesting, but only if they do a BEV version

Should be a great car then because Alfa Romeo is a pretty decent car. Hopefully this thread won’t disappear for me saying that like another thread.

Lol just add that the Hornet is not as good looking as the Mustang Mach-E (true in my opinion)

But the Hornet would be interesting as a full BEV since Chrysler doesn't have a crossover BEV
