Thinking about setting up a Mach e track day at Willow Springs in Southern California. Probably late October. Let me know if anyone is interested that way I know how much effort to put into it. ✌

Hopefully we can get a good size group out and meet up with the COA. Or maybe even see if Ford will step up for a track day. I'll see if they have DC charges close by. I don't mind putting in some ground work if we get 50 or so cars wanting to have a day of fun. We will see the delivery dates of the GT and plan it for the end of the year.

I am not sure I will have the GT in hand by the end of October, but I would definitely be interested in a light track day. Never tracked a vehicle before, but looking forward to learning with this one.

Sounds great. I'll keep an eye on delivery schedules as I am also excited for my GT PE. I'm going to start asking the Ford LA rep about helping out. Maybe even get some hot lap with a pro. Never hurts to ask right

I wonder if the slowest model (EX Battery RWD) would be good enough to track. If so I might be interested.

Be prepared for MASSIVE battery depletion on track. For reference, it's not uncommon for an ICE GT500 to burn several gallons of fuel per lap, depending on the track. Certainly the regen will help mitigate that, but just be prepared.

They have big willow and streets. Steets is more twisty so if we go there all models will have a blast.

I’d vote Streets too. Big Willow = big offs, especially for novices.

Dunno if I would drag a GTP across the country, but if there was a way to rent-a-ride, I might be able to find a way to ‘share the fear’.

I’m in, I’m curious what this AWD can do. I have track experience and racing gear. I have a 240v generator I would probably bring. I’ll have some track experience in this vehicle before that for sure.

Fantastic, I also have a 50 amp 240 volt generator. I used to take my modified 94 GT out to big willow. Will need to dust off the helmet.

I would be interested, but do you know if it is possible to buy insurance for a day such as this? I assume a regular insurance policy would not cover an accident that occurred at a track.

Great question, I'll ask the track operators when I inquire about pricing and dates. Although I've been there about 10 times and haven't seen anyone crash but I'm sure it happens
