I called late afternoon and left a message. I'd like an affirmation that we're officially in the system, and I don't want to miss the 200K units sold cutoff.
We'll see.

kinda related question: once the dealer accepts the order, should I still go in and have them print out some kind of order form, or am I all good?
Also, the person I spoke to didn't even know the term ADM...

I'm waiting for the 'accepted' check too. Do they actually have to do something to toggle that, or is it just a satisfier for the shopper?
I called back today and asked him to re-verify the order. Then this showed up. Looks like he finally got around to approving it. Only 5 days later, but what can you do?

I'm at 4 days. Yesterday's call/message has not been returned. I'm old school. Face to face over a table - or - get the dealer out of the way. I think we'll find no need to use a dealer for ordering a car at all soon. It can be done and is in some sectors. Change takes time.

I can’t speak for all orders, but mine was less than 2 hours. That said, my order was for a GT-PE on the first day of GT orders, so there may have been special circumstances involved.
I was told by Ford today that our GT's will start being made at the end of July.

Start being made - and then sit and wait for chips. Can't change that, just gotta wait.

I placed an order on 5/3. I fully expect it'll be Dec. or Jan. to my dealer's lot.

Well that’s good news. Since I have a pretty high reservation number I do not expect to be among the first to get one in the first month‘s shipment.
