As I’ve discovered in my limited conversations with dealers, there’s a lot of conflicting info out there (as to be expected). Would it be proper to share communications that we have received from dealerships?
So far my dealer has confirmed that there is conflicting info in regard to the final transaction. Where the FAQ says the final transaction price is set by the dealer and their Ford Rep says

In addition to that they also shared some info on projected units and allocation.“[Ford] will actually be setting the pricing on the vehicle and at this time, we will not be marking that figure up in any way. As far as negotiating, with the very small number of units that will actually make it to the DFW area, we will be selling these units at that price set by Ford, nothing more or less. We have been told that these units will not have any invoice figures from Ford, that they will literally have ONE price which will be the MSRP.”
They also confirmed that they have no information on financing or dealer cash (as to be expected) and that they are doubtful there will be anything available.“... on the reservation site it stipulates that making a reservation does not guarantee that you will be able to actually get a Mach-E. We are also being told that the 50k unit figure is quite aggressive and that 30k units would be more realistic, but we also have to consider how they will be allocated, where 50% of all units produces MUST go to zero emissions states, and the other 50% will then be divided among all other states.”
