I've seen the grille wraps from a couple of vendors that attempt to simulate the GT grille, but I've not been impressed enough to order one.
As a designer, I made a few failed attempts to re-create the look, using GT photos as reference. But I kept trying, and I think I've arrived at a design that comes pretty close. Below is a Photoshop image on which I've dropped my design. The wrap rendering includes highlighting and shadows as part of the design. I may still add a bit more shading to the left, right, and bottom edges.
I know that a grille wrap mod is quite polarized, but for me, it looks better and will hopefully reduce chipping and make bug cleanup easier.
Now I just need to find a vendor to take my file and print it!
