I guess I’ll have to reopen my vinyl shop and stripe this one.

I like the way this looks in this light but is this Black or DMG?
It’s DMG. I think the snow is creating enough contrast to make it look even darker than normal.

edit: I’m an idiot and autocorrect is dumber than I.

Congrats on sneaking in this no ADM purchase. MY DMG GT is so close I can taste it (that's weird). Supposedly here in a few weeks

What was your Second Color Choice?

I have a build date of 4/11 on my DMG. I like the color a lot and am excited to get it, but I'm having typical second thoughts as my build date approaches. I'm curious what was your second color choice? I'm sticking with DMG, I don't think I have a choice if I want to change.

I like greys, dark browns, and other deep metallics when done right. I think many of the MME colors are nice. The blue looks meh in photos, but I was impressed when I saw one in person. The red looks good. The silver pops but it's a bit too bright for me. White is blah. Black is boring.

Very nice stripe. How was this done?
So I take ZERO credit for the idea, as mkhuffman did this to his white Mach, as you can see that post here. I had been thinking about what I might do and thought this was a great way to do two things; 1) tie into the red brake calipers (as I chose to keep it between the wheel wells and not extend to the bumpers) and 2) create a break line between the black and the Dark gray body color so as to less blend together because it is so dark. I like how it turned out and give him all the credit for coming up with it (I sure would not have).

It is pretty easy to apply if you clean ahead of time and is easy to remove a reapply if you make a mistake, so you can have some fun with. The other exterior things I did was de-badge (easy to do with dental floss and goo gone) and tint just the taillights (though I thoght of making them all red just to tie the red back in in another place).

I am an idiot for hitting post twice.

I think I'll try it with the intense blue.. at least on the sides
Post a pic when done. I like the subtlety of adding a color there, even with some having painted their calipers a different color.
